The first step in Artist development is discovering where you are as an artist. Frank will help you discover where you are and where you want to be as a recording artist. He will help you find the songs that best fit you as an artist. This may include writing and co-writing songs as well. Pre-production is a very important part of the process. Time is spent developing the path that your music will take as well as educating you about the music business and how record labels work. This knowledge alone is worth its weight in gold. Next we will move into the recording studio to capture the music on “state of the art” digital and analog equipment. Nashville is set apart by having some of the best talent in the world. You will be surrounded by some of the best musicians in the business because Frank has developed relationships with these professionals over the years and knows exactly who to call on the session to get the sound that he is looking for. These musicians have performed with many of the top recording artists in the world… they are simply the best! Next we move to DigitalMaster Studio to continue and complete the project. Frank will coach you through the vocal sessions to capture the best performance. He has a reputation for being very patient and is skilled at knowing how to capture you at your very best in the studio. After the vocals and overdubs are complete it will be time for the mix down; this is a balancing of all of the recorded tracks together to create the almost finished product. This critical step in the process is quite time intensive and you will certainly appreciate Frank’s expertise! Frank’s perfectionist nature will be a great asset to the finished product because he only stops when your project is the best that it can be. When the mix down is finished, your project will be mastered. This is the final stage before manufacturing the CD’s where, editing, sequencing, EQ, and any compression that may be needed are completed as well as the PQ codes necessary for manufacturing. Your project will be given that final touch to insure it will be “radio ready”.
